If you're an art lover and want to connect with local artists or would like to contribute to a good cause, the Gentle Hands Art Auction is now open to preview until November 27! The online auction brings local Canadian artists together to donate their pieces and most importantly, all proceeds go to the Gentle Hands building expansion to house orphans, kids classrooms and nursery space in Manila, Philippines. The auction will begin on November 28 for three days and you can find out more information on their blog and twitter links.
Some of the beautiful pieces include "Romance" a classic black and white photograph of the Eiffel Tower at night, "The Fountain" taken at Queen Elizabeth Park (pictured above) and "The Geography of Hope 2010," (pictured below) which paints an acrylic picture of the creative expression of love.
