Atkinson's of Vancouver

Atkinson’s is a beautiful gift registry in Vancouver (on the corner of Granville and W. 6th) selling unique and gorgeous tableware, linens, and gift ideas.

Celebrating her 25th year in business, owner Diane Atkinson has a strong relationship with her clients, many of which have been returning for years!

So, what does it mean to register at Atkinson’s?

Well, for starters, you don’t need an appointment, just walk on in! Unlike department store registries, however, you won’t get a computerized wand to scan in barcodes. Instead, one of the employees will actually chat with you, get a feel for what you’re looking for, and even browse the store with you if you’d like. Then they’ll help you put together entire settings, from the tableware to the glassware to the silverware. Trust us, there is so much gorgeous inventory, you’ll need the personalized help you narrow down what you love!

Once you choose all your registry items, which could sometimes take 2 or 3 visits to the store, your guests could make purchases in several different ways. They could walk into the store, of course, at which time an employee will show them the things you have requested, in their price point. Or, your guests could go onto the Atkinson’s website, and make their purchase online, or they could phone the 1-800 number.

Diane does remind us however that brides and grooms will have to register at another store as well for any electrical appliances such as coffee makers or toasters, which they do not carry.

Also don’t fret, if you change your mind about your gifts after the wedding, you can always exchange items!

All of this personalized attention and gorgeous inventory makes it clear why Atkinson’s is truly the crème de la crème of gift registries!
