“On the uniqueness of our wedding, what I can say is that our wedding was very much us. I found my dress at Blush Occasions, one of the beautiful Crème de la Crème fashion show designers. I knew as soon as I saw it. It was the only store I went to as I was so sure I didn’t need to look any further. The dress had a deep V neckline with thin straps down the back (to which I had rhinestones added). It was very well fitted at the top with rouching effect in the waist, with an asymmetrical skirt. For my veil I wore my Mom's from her wedding. It was more of a cape with a hood. It was sheer and had lace near the edges with a few rhinestones, and finished with a fur trim.

Our wedding ceremony was very personal since we chose all the readings, prayers and poems for the program. Everything went smoothly thanks to our planner from CountDown Events. Our wedding theme was inspired by winter/snow and ice, everything was white with a hint of iced blue.”
Iman and Nolan’s delicious cake was created by one of our pioneering Crème de la Crème artisans Thomas Haas. “There was none left over for us to take home (which, as far as I know, is unheard of).
I was one of the lucky brides that attended Crème de la Crème and I loved all of it. My Mom and I really liked how interactive everything was. I got to try everything! I loved being pampered (getting my hair and make up done, as well as getting a massage), trying all the yummy food and desserts and even getting my photo taken professionally (my photo was so great we ended up hiring the photographer). And of course I found all of the best vendors I needed for our wedding. The show was smaller and more intimate but that made me spend more time there as I wanted to look at everything. There was not one “showcase" that I wanted to skip over.”
