April has been eventful to say the least! We've had the pleasure of attending some lovely events, flew over to Pender Island to plan a beautiful Gulf Island wedding and had a private invitation to tour the Balmoral cruise ship docked for the first time in Vancouver.

Both Westin Bayshore and Fourseasons Hotel are boasting some modern renovations to their top ranking suites. It is exciting to see Vancouver get a face lift in preparation for the Olympics!

It is facinating to me to board a vessel the size of a cruise ship. It was humbling to be aboard the Balmoral cruise ship and to sit at the Captain's helm! Yes that was really exciting. The view from the capatain's chair was the perfect panoramic picture you would imagine. This was the first time the Balmoral had docked in our beautiful port and I think the crew was as impressed with our cityscape as I was with it's majesty.
